Live and In Person
Please read through the end, because I need your help with something.
My To Do list is incredibly long these days.
And I mean, sure, there are things on there like Clean the bathroom, Do laundry, and Shop for groceries, but now there are things on there like Ensure that the website is up-to-date, Coordinate with Bandcamp to make sure the landing page is right, and Talk to Spotify playlist curators.
Honestly, I like this To Do list a whole hell of a lot better!
The EP is out and in the world. Alone In A Crowded Place is available for download from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Deezer, YouTube, iHeartRadio, and a whole bunch of others. It’s also available for purchase as a physical CD through Bandcamp. I had my first virtual event to launch the disc last Thursday – you can see the playback here.
Also, there’s a new video for “In a Minor Key” up on YouTube:
But now the big news: we have the details for the live launch of the EP, and I’ve got to tell you I’m really looking forward to this!
Thursday, August 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Danielle Pinals, Andrew Geano, and I will perform at Farm Pond in Framingham. We wanted to gather outdoors both because it’s still difficult to find places to play in Massachusetts, and also to minimize the risk of Covid exposure. I will be playing songs from Alone In A Crowded Place, Danielle will be playing songs from her brand new EP, Little Stars, and Andrew has new singles that are about to hit the airwaves as well. It’s going to be exactly the party we wanted it to be, and I really hope that you can make it.
Now I have to ask a favor. I need your help with something big:
In addition to (hopefully!) seeing you on August 12, I could really use your help getting this music to people who might enjoy it. If you are reading this, can you please forward the link to the album – on Spotify or whatever your preferred source is – to a friend (or two or three friends!) who you think might enjoy it?
It is really, really hard to “find our congregation” in this modern age, and songwriters, musicians, and other artists really rely on those around us to help spread the word.
It has always been a delight to see when people are reading these blogs, and it means so much that you are on this journey with me. Let’s make our club a little bigger. Invite your friends, and let’s have even more fun and music together.
Thank you!!
