Hello River City (the YEG)

Nothing very important to say today, but just a feeling to share. I’m sitting here right now, about 10 metres* away from where I got the inspiration for (and then wrote) “All’s Well That Ends,” and am reminded of how much I love this strange little and wonderful city that sits astride the North Saskatchewan River. Each time I come to Edmonton I am awestruck at how comfortable I feel here.

It’s not a Utopia – no place is. (It’s why they call it that) But still, it’s one of the few places (including Boston, my actual home) that I feel home, welcome, and at peace.

So, the North Saskatchewan is starting to thaw. And so, perhaps, am I

-Chris

PS – Still looking for people to jam with. C’mon and drop me a line!

*yeah, I said metres. Go look it up.
