NEW ALBUM PREVIEW SHOW (One Broadway)
TALES TOLD OUT OF SCHOOL has completed mastering, and I am just now working on liner notes and artwork in preparation for posting everything to distro kid and bandcamp. This means it’s probably a good time for a little bit of a preview!
I’m very pleased to announce that at 7:30pm on Friday, March 22, I’ll be sharing multiple songs from the new album in a songwriters-in-the-round performance with Tom Maynard at One Broadway Collaborative in Lawrence.
One Broadway Collaborative is run by Aaron Tornberg, and is a tremendous community asset in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Aaron is tremendously supportive of the rock, folk, and hip-hop communities in northern Massachusetts. I’ve had the distinct pleasure and honor of playing several times both at the original One Broadway studio and at the current studio at 468 Essex St., also home to Lawrence Community Access Television.
Just last weekend, for example, we at ISSA brought our songwriter showcase to the venue, and eight of us spent an evening trading songs, while Aaron ran the board and broadcast everything that we did.
